Sunday 2 March: Frostbite League, Race 6
The final race in this season’s Frostbite League takes part at Hinchingbrooke Park, starting at 10.15am from Hinchingbrooke School
For those that haven’t taken part in a Frostbite race before, the Frosbite League is a series of six races from October through to March at various locations and terrains. The League is made up of fifteen local clubs. The senior races are around 5 miles and the junior races are no more than 1.5 miles.
The races are open to all juniors aged between 9 – 16 who are a member of one of the league’s clubs. All runners must wear a club vest.
For junior teams the first 5 runners score points for the team, 1 of which must be male and 1 must be a female. The remaining places may be male or female.
We encourage all eligible children to take part. Taking part in a Frostbite is a great opportunity to be part of a team and experience the satisfaction of racing, with a great level of support and encouragement from spectators.
The current venues are:
Oct – St. Neots Priory Park
Nov – Bushfield Sports Centre (Orton)
Dec – Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon
Jan – March (near Whitemoor prison)
Feb – Bourne Woods
Mar – BRJ club, Huntingdon
