The Frosbite Friendly League was set up in 1988 by Yaxley Runners & Joggers member Steve Humphries.

The series consists of six races of between 5 and 6 miles, run monthly from October through to March at various locations and terrains. The League is made up of sixteen local clubs.

The series also includes junior races for children between the ages of 9 – 16 over a maximum distance of 1½ miles.

Oct – St. Neots Priory Park
Nov – Nene Park, Peterborough
Dec – March (near Whitemoor prison)
Jan – Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon
Feb – Bawsey Country Park, Kings Lynn
Mar – Jubilee Park, Huntingdon
