Yaxley Runners before the GER
Dreadful conditions were not enough to prevent Yaxley Runners from recording a string of PBs at the GER today.
Despite strong winds and torrential rain at times, several of our runners produced their best ever times over the half marathon distance, and we once again had a strong presence helping out at the finish line.
Our youngsters also put in some fine displays in the fun run.
With 54 runners taking part in the main race, Matt Lauch was first across the line for the club in 1:22:58. Caroline Woods was the first lady home in 1:31:50.
In the fun run, we had 14 competitors taking part, with Jamie Cooke the first home in 22:04. Zoe Jackson was the first girl home in 23:13.
